Lighting Improvements 2023-2024 Project Identification: Project consists of the lighting and associated electrical upgrades at (4) City of Columbus locations: 1. Dod ge Pool, 645 Sullivant Ave, Columbus 43215 2. Maryland Pool, 1380 Atcheson St, Columbus 43203 3. Fairwood Park, 1392 Fairwood Ave, Columbus 43206 4. Big Run Park, 4201 Clime Rd, Columbus, 43228 Contract work will consist of: 1. New Work a. Dod ge Pool: 1) Install new flood lights within the fenced area. 2) Power lights off the existing panels per the Drawings. 3) Demo an existing yard receptacle and concrete base. b. Maryland Pool: 1) Install new flood lights within the fenced area. 2) Replace the existing wall packs at the entry building with new Led wall packs. 3) Power lights off the existing panels per the Drawings. c. Fairwood Park: 1) Install new pole lights in the parking areas and along the drive roads. 2) Demo the single existing pole light and base at the entry off Fairwood. 3) Install two new pole lights and ground rods on the existing bases on the west end of the park in the first parking lot area. Intercept existing conduits to run new wiring. CAD well grounding wires to rods 4) Provide new 480 volt 2-wire electric service with CT cabinet, meter and disconnect on the south property line. AEP is to to set a new pole with transformer. 5) Provide a main control cabinet with an electrical panel and lighting controller. 6) Extend a power conduit to across the main drives for the west walk-path lights. 7) Extend a power conduit to the east walk-path lights. MWBE Goal: 10% Work shall begin within fifteen (15) days after award of Contract, or as soon as weather conditions permit unless otherwise notified by the User. Completion of the Project will be within 270 consecutive calendar days following authorization to proceed with work, unless an extension of time is granted by the User. Completion shall include all necessary clean up, final inspection items, damage repairs, etc.
