Demolition and site work for a residential development in Marion, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

The City of Marion is requesting bids from qualified, licensed contractors for the complete demolition and disposal of 23 condemned residential structures. This includes the removal of all construction materials above and below grade for each parcel. All materials from the sites shall be disposed of properly in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations. The City of Marion is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The demolition and disposal project consists of twenty-two (22) condemned residential houses/buildings throughout the City of Marion. This includes the removal of all construction materials above and below grade for each parcel. Each property must be cleaned of all debris, white goods, scrub brush, trash, and garbage. All materials from the sites shall be disposed of properly, following all local, state, and federal regulations. 1. The list of structures is available in both printed hard copy and electronically on a USB drive. 2. It is the contractor's responsibility to walk each property. 3. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all certifications and permits necessary for the completion of the project from the applicable regulatory agencies. 4. The contractor shall contact gas, water, electrical, and sewer for disconnect. 5. Caution must be exercised to prevent damage to adjacent structures and to ensure that mature trees are not removed or damaged. 6. Damage to any of the property will be paid by the contractor. 7. Demolition Projects will be completed within 60 days of the "Notice to Proceed". Failure to meet this deadline may result in penalties. 8. The contractor will be responsible for all costs of transporting and properly disposing of all demolition debris and all landfill fees. 9. Lots are to be left in a clean, properly graded state
