Site work and paving for a civil project in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Asphalt Rock Booster Pump Station In general, the project includes a new booster pump station, approximately 350 feet of 6" and 8" ductile iron water main, and all associated fencing, electrical, concrete paving, grassing, and clean up. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond or a cashier's check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price or $10,000 payable without recourse to the Colbert County Commission. Check or bid bond shall be provided as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within fourteen (14) days after Notice of Award. The successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price and payment bond in the amount of 50% of the contract price upon the forms provided. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Alabama to act as surety. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interests of the Owner, and to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving the bids.
