Renovation of a municipal facility in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
North Alabama Welcome Center A certified check or bid bond, payable to the order of the City of Tuscumbia, AL in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds will be required at the signing of the Contract. The Contract will require completion within 365 calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will accrue per the General Conditions of the Contract. All Bidders bidding in amounts exceeding $50,000 must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama (current version), as amended. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of thirty (30) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will be served
