Scope of Services: The work includes the demolition of existing structures and piping, construction of 2 - 3.0 MGD solids contact clarifiers, rehabilitation of the existing rapid sand filters, replacement of filter gallery piping, modification of chemical feed system, construction of a new one-million-gallon prestressed concrete ground storage tank, pumps, blowers, piping, valves, site work, fencing, pavement, generator and fuel tank, electrical, instrumentation and controls and other equipment associated with the water plant and other appurtenant and related items of construction. All work to be completed within 400 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. BID BOND: a "Bid Guarantee" equivalent to 5% of the bid price consisting of a firm commitment, such as a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or another negotiable instrument, shall accompany each bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance o his bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required and within the time specifed Question Deadline 11/27/2024 Bidders desiring further information or interpretation of the plans or specifications must make written request for such information to the Engineer.
