Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Jasper, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The bid is comprised of the following principal items and approximate quantities: * Demolition/Removal of Existing Screen Equipment * New Influent Screen #2 Equipment and Improvements * Miscellaneous Appurtenances and Work. All Bidders must be responsible, meeting the criteria and requirements set forth in the specification documents. Prequalification of Bidders is not required. This project is considered a "Public Works" project and is governed by competitive bid laws as contained in Title 39 of the Alabama Code. Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and Bond Agents should be familiar with this code. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving of the same. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this Project. However, each contractor is encouraged to make a site visit to the Town Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant at 4000 Plant Road, Jasper, AL 35501, prior to the bidding, to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions and limits of the work.
