The installation quote should include installation cost and all new cabling, connectors, patch panels where required that would be involved to connect and punch down the new cables into the switches in the IDF and MDF locations. The purpose of this project is to remove obsolete classroom switches and provide new network drops in classroom and upgrade fiber as listed. The installation also includes fiber runs of 50 micron OM3 multimode installed from MDF closet to IDF closets with fiber patch chords and patch panels where needed. In both locations each room will receive a triple data wall mounted placement with wire mold, ivory (wire mold of plastic material and conduit are not allowed). Removal of old existing wall box and conduit is required. Existing cabling no longer used can be cut and left in the ceiling. Cabling will not exceed 300 feet and plenum is not required. The project should also include proper labeling. Request are as follows: T. R. Simmons Elementary has 2 IDF closets and 1 MDF closet. Fiber (50 micron OM3 multimode) will need to be run between the 2 IDF locations and MDF location. At T.R. Simmons access points for room 16, room 22, Gym1, Gym2, room 18, room 20, and room 21 need new cable run to the nearest IDF or MDF location. The common areas such as Gym, Library, Nurse Office and Lunch Room will also need data drops as described above. Total drop count for T. R. Simmons is 112 drops and 2 fiber runs. At Memorial Park Elementary, room 13 access point needs to be run to the nearest IDF or MDF location. Memorial Park Elementary has 1 MDF and 1 IDF closet. Fiber (50 micron OM3 multimode) will need to be run between IDF location and MDF location. The common areas such as Gym, Library, and Lunch Room will also need data drops as described above. Total drop count for Memorial Park Simmons is 109 drops. The Jasper City Board of Education (hereinafter referred to as "The Customer") intends to replace and add new network cabling to Memorial Park Elementary (800 10th Avenue, Jasper, Alabama,35501), and T.R. Simmons Elementary (1001 Viking Drive, Jasper, Alabama, 35501). The term of the contract shall be for a period beginning on July 1, 2025 and ending on June 30, 2026.
