Renovation of a library in Whitney Point, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

A summary of the bids received will be available to the public the following week upon request. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Bidding and Contract Documents and must be accompanied by references of similar projects and a Bid Security in the form of a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Bank Check in the amount of (5%) five percent of the bid amount. Bidders must have a minimum of 5 years successful experience in completion of similar projects. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a notarized Warranty Letter in lieu of a Maintenance Bond. The substantial completion date for this project is April 30th, 2025, and fully completed by May 30th, 2025. Funding for this project is being administered by New York State Library State Aid for Library Construction, under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business (MWBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts. The Contractor, by bidding on the contract, acknowledges understanding and support of this policy and pledges to fully cooperate with the Village of Whitney Point in meeting NYS requirements as set forth in the Bidding and Contract Documents. All questions regarding the project are to be submitted in writing anytime during the bid process to: Kim Seavey kseavey@delta-eas.com. Written questions will be received no later than 5:00 pm on November 20th, 2024. The Village of Whitney Point has been and will continue to be an equal opportunity organization. Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. See documents for minimum limits.
