Site work for a water / sewer project in Salem, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Minority Owned Businesses (MBEs) and Women Owned Businesses (WBEs) are encouraged to respond. The project is partially funded through the FY2023 Economic Development Initiative/Community Project Funding Grant (Grant Agreement/Federal Award Identification Number B-23-CP-VA-1474) with federal oversight by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Project consists of installation of a trenchless water main crossing of Interstate 81, including approximately 500 LF of 24" water main, 25 LF of 16" water main, and appurtenances in Roanoke County, Virginia. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Question Deadline 12/04/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to the Owner in writing. Submit questions via email to the Owner's Project Manager, Randy Fulton, via email at randall.fulton@westernvawater.org. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. All questions and technical inquiries must be submitted in writing to the Owner's primary contact, Randy Fulton (email randall.fulton@westernvawater.org).
