Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The Work of the Contract consists of the following work Removal of ground floor Patterson Kelley electric water heater, portions of piping, and existing recirculation pump. Furnish and install two (2) new electric storage waterheaters and four (4) hot water storage tanks in the basement utility area. Furnish and in-stall new copper piping for the new tanks/water heaters. Back feed existing building cold water, hot water, and hot water recirculation pi-ping at the ground level for-mer water heater room Insulate new water piping in accordance with the 2021 IECC. Wire new water heat-ers to the existing building main distribution panel. Wire new circulator pump, recirculation pump, and system controls to existing common panel in basement. Furnish and install a new sump pump and sump basin in the new water heater room. Pump discharge to connect to existing building drainage sys-tem. Wire new sump pump to existing basement standby generator panel. All coring, sleeves, firestopping, cutting and patching as required. The work is estimated to cost $72,400.00 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. For projects with an estimated construction cost of over $100,000, by DHCD contractual requirement, General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), ac-cording to Article 2.1 in Section 00.21.00 Instructions to Bidders, in the category of: Not Applicable. No Filed Sub Bids are required. General Bids will be re-ceived until FRIDAY No-vember 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM and publicly opened, forthwith. This project is being electronically bid (E-Bid). The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women. Question Deadline 11/15/2024 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect. The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids.
