As of October 24, 2025, this project is in the design phase. An architect and contactor have been selected. Construction is expected to begin in July of 2026. Engineering - Cedarcrest Middle School Replacement Value Engineering and Constructability Review for Cedarcrest Middle School Replacement Licensed Architects, Engineers, and All Other Consulting Professionals That Provide Value Engineering and Constructability Services, Are Invited to Submit Statements of Qualifications (Soq) and a Proposal for Value Engineering and Constructability Services in Support of the Cedarcrest Middle School Replacement Project. Project Scope: Demolition and Removal of an Existing Middle School Building and Portable Classrooms and Construction of a New Steel Framed, Multi-story Middle School, Approximately 123,000 Sf, and Related Site Work With Complete Electrical and Mechanical Systems. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
