Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Everest, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of November 25, 2024 project was awarded to Ebert Construction Co., Inc., but awarded amount is not available. The Project consists of the replacement of Atchison County Bridge Number RS 290, located 3.5 miles North of Atchison, KS on 310 Road. The proposed bridge is a 30'-40'-30' RCSH Cont. Spans Skew 20d Rt. with 24' roadway. The existing bridge will be bypassed on a new alignment and retained. Direct all questions to Dave Beach at dbeach@schwab-eaton.com INTERPRETATION OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications or other proposed contract documents, they shall submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation of the proposed documents will be made only by addendum duly issued and a copy of such addendum will be mailed or delivered to each person receiving a set of documents. The Owners and Engineers will not be responsible for any other explanation or interpretations of the contract documents. Question received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addendum will be binding. Oral or other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
