Firetower Road Sewer System Improvements Question Deadline 12/04/2024 Any questions or request for clarifications shall be submitted via email to jason@chiniche.com. All questions or requests shall be submitted no later than 4 working days prior to date of the bid. The work included in the Contract shall consist primarily of the Construction of the following items: Installation and construction of force main sewer system Engineer's Estimate: $2.2M. Bids must be submitted upon the standard forms contained within these contract documents furnished by Engineer, noted in the Information for Bidders. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder's Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the owner as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested by the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of actual bid opening without Owner's consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities. All contracts awarded under this Advertisement will be funded in part by anticipated funds from the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) through the Mississippi Municipality and County Water Infrastructure Grant (MCWI) Program. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all MCWI Program regulations and requirements.
