The work generally consists of the following: Traffic Control - 1 LS, Lateral Televising - 51 EA, Clean and Televise Sanitary Sewer with Storm Sewer Dye Water Testing - 8,052 LF Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Village of Butler in an amount of 5 percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 10 days after the Award, the Check or Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages. Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and all blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. All project work shall be substantially completed by June 30, 2025. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid and Bids which best serve the interests of the Village. Bidders on this project must be on the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District's Approved Contractor List for Municipal PPII work. Any bids from Contractors not on the above-mentioned list will be rejected.
