Site work for a water / sewer project in Highland Park, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of December 4, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 10, 2024. Water Service Line Field Verification by Hydro Excavation for Lead Service Inventory Any questions regarding the Specifications and Bid documents must be submitted to the Clerk's office in writing on or before 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 to ensure that the Borough has sufficient time to issue an addendum, if necessary. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Borough of Highland Park for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00, made payable to the Borough of Highland Park. A surety statement must also accompany the bid. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. As more fully explained in the bidding documents, the Borough reserves the right to award one contract to one bidder for both services, or two separate contracts to two bidders for the respective services. The Borough reserves the right to abandon and cancel this proposed project prior to the opening of bids. The Borough also reserves the right to reject bids in a manner consistent with New Jersey law; and to waive immaterial defects or informalities in any bid, where it is deemed to be in the interest of the Borough to do so. The Borough further reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Contract Documents. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The Borough reserves the right to award this contract based on funds available. ** Bid date info : Bids must be submitted on the form(s) provided, completed in accordance with the specifications contained therein, and enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Borough Council of the Borough of Highland Park bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the proposed work on the outside. Bidders must submit the original and one (1) copy of their bid. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Borough Clerk in person, by messenger or by mail prior to date and time of the bid opening named above. The Borough assumes no responsibility for the loss or non-delivery of any bid sent prior to the bid opening.
