The Cleaning and Lining of Sewer Main and Rehabilitation of Manholes Project Any questions regarding the Specifications and Bid documents must be submitted to the Clerks office in writing on or before 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 to ensure that the Borough has sufficient time to issue an addendum, if necessary. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier s check or bid bond from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Borough of Highland Park for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00, made payable to the Borough of Highland Park. The Borough reserves the right to abandon and cancel this proposed project prior to the opening of bids. The Borough also reserves the right to reject bids in a manner consistent with New Jersey law; and to waive immaterial defects or informalities in any bid, where it is deemed to be in the interest of the Borough to do so.
