Project location: 55 School Street, Somers, CT 06071 Project Contact: Todd Rolland, 600 Main Street, Somers, CT 06071, trolland@somersct.gov, (860)763-8238 Project Description: Repairs to the Mill Pond Fish Dock. The ramp framing, all deck boards, and horizontal railing members shall be replaced. Scope of Work: 1. Provide dumpsters and all disposal fees. 2. Remove the existing decking, horizontal railing members, and ramp framing. 3. Replace the existing ramp framing with pressure-treated lumber and install new 2"x 6" pressure-treated decking. 4. Install new 2"x 6" pressure-treated decking over the existing framing of the deck. 5. Install new 2"x 6" pressure-treated railing, re-using the existing 4"x4" posts. 6. Coat all surfaces with clear wood sealer for decks. 7. The winning bidder shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials.
