Site work for a road / highway in Newburgh, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This project consists of a single contract for the construction of asphalt and concrete roadways, asphalt paths, storm and sanitary sewer networks, earthwork and grading, and erosion control. Any Bid(s) received after the designated time for bid opening, for any reason, will be returned unopened. All Bid(s) must be delivered in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and indicating the name of the Project. Each Bid must be submitted on State Board of Accounts Form 96 (revised 2013) for public works projects. Part I and Part II, Sections I, II, III, IV, and V shall be fully completed by all Bidders. Bidders shall submit General Form 96a Standard Questionnaires and Financial Statement for Bidders, Standard Questionnaires and Financial Statement for Bidders - Form 102, or a Bidder's current Financial Statement certified by an accountant, to comply with Part II, Section III. Each Bid shall be accompanied by (enclosed in the same envelope) a Bid Bond or certified check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid submitted. No Bid(s) shall be withdrawn after the opening of Bids without the consent of the Warrick County Redevelopment Commission for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of closing Bids. The contractor receiving the award will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price, which is to remain in effect for twelve (12) months from the date of acceptance of work. The Warrick County Redevelopment Commission reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids, make such combination of Alternative Bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any informality in bidding. The selected Contractor must enter into the Agreement (as shown in the Project Manual) with the Warrick County Redevelopment Commission on or before December 26, 2024. The selected Contractor must enroll in and verify work eligibility status of all newly hired employees through the E-Verify Program, as described in Indiana Code 22-5-1.7. Question Deadline 11/27/2024 at 3:15 PM CT All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Architect/Engineer in writing. All request for information on any portion of the Project shall be submitted in writing to Matthew Wallace, PE at Morley by email at mattw@morleycorp.com.
