Site work for a water / sewer project in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This work is Grant Funded by EOHLC (Executive Office of Housing & Livable Communities). Questions are due by noon on 11/18/2024 , 12:00 PM EST in the Vendor Discussion section of the online Procurement Portal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. 5% Bid Bond is required. Liquidated damages are $1000.00 required. Full compliance with Federal, State and Municipal Wage Laws is required of all work done for the Town of Barnstable. Prevailing Wage Rates are applicable to this project. OSHA certificate required. The "Fair Share" construction requirement for this project is a minimum of 10.4% combined MBE/WBE participation by state certified MBEs and WBEs. Contractors shall be required to comply with all applicable Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30 S.39M, and other applicable Massachusetts General Laws. The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town.
