Site work and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a stadium; sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project consists of: Repairs to Stadium Lighting Hurricane Damage, including four new light poles and foundations, LED light fixtures on six light poles, and associated Parking Lot Poles and Light Fixtures. Section Includes: Selective removal and disposal of existing construction as indicated on Drawings and as required to accommodate new construction. Demolition work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Selective demolition and removal of portions of existing lighting system. 2. Protection of existing structure affected by demolition operations. 3. Protection of existing utilities to remain. 4. Temporary protection for the public from demolition operations. 5. Pollution control during demolition operations. 6. Notification to Owner of schedule of shut-off of utilities which serve occupied spaces of adjacent buildings. 7. Removal and legal disposal of materials. B. Related Sections: 1. Divisions 15 and 16: Removal and relocation of fixtures, pipes, conduits, ducts, and other mechanical and electrical work. C. Work Not Included: Any hazardous materials abatement will be performed by a separate contractor prior to start of Contract work under each construction stage Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact New Orleans City Park Improvement Association (Owner) by emailing Courtney Charbonnet, Manager of Purchasing and Contract Services ccharbonnet@nocp.org no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening. All questions should be directed to Courtney Charbonnet, Manager of Purchasing and Contract Services ccharbonnet@nocp.org . Last date for submitting questions is Monday, November 25, 2024 at 1:45 PM local time. Each Bidder must deposit with the bid, security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid bonds shall be written by a surety or insurance company meeting the requirements noted in L.R.S. 38:2218; with the exception that sureties used for obtaining bonds on federally funded projects must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount, written by a surety or insurance company meeting the requirements of L.R.S. 38:2219 A. (1)(a), (b) and (c); with the exception that sureties used for obtaining bonds on federally funded projects must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause.
