Sealed bids for making the following improvements in the City of Joplin, Missouri. For the removal of asbestos & demolition of the structure located at: 2008 S. Sergeant Ave. All bidders must be certified asbestos contractors and registered with the State of Missouri for the abatement portion of the project. The successful bidder(s) will be required to be licensed, bonded and insured as a contractor of the City of Joplin, Missouri. The Planning & Community Development Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the lowest or best bid. The City of Joplin is seeking a qualified firm to provide asbestos abatement and demolition services on the structure located at 2008 S. Sergeant, Joplin, MO. When the project is assigned, the Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, insurance, fuels, applicable permits, and any and all other items necessary to complete the asbestos abatement and demolition services, as specified herein. NOTICE: THIS BID PACKAGE HAS BEEN SEPERATED INTO THREE (3) GROUPS. CONTRACTORS HAVE THE OPTION OF CHOOSING WHICH GROUP THEY WISH TO BID.
