Provide testing, preventive maintenance and repair services for twenty-three (23) elevators at eighteen (18) school and administrative locations in Cumberland County, N.C. Cumberland County Schools (CCS) is interested in receiving proposals for the testing, preventive maintenance and repair of twenty-three elevators at eighteen schools and administrative facilities. This service shall cover the cost of required inspection, preventive maintenance, repair and testing of these existing elevators. See attached elevator list and contract termination dates Vendors must deliver one (1) signed original and two (2) copies of the Proposal to this address in a sealed package with Company Name and RFP Number clearly marked on the front. Written questions concerning the RFP specifications will be received until November 5, 2024 at 12PM. These must be submitted by e-mail to phillipperry@ccs.k12.nc.us Questions and responses will be forwarded to all interested contractors prior to the bid date. Every attempt will be made to respond to all questions by 11/6/24 at 12PM. NO PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD Vendor's offer must be valid for at least 60 days from the date of proposal opening A contract awarded pursuant to this RFP shall have an effective date as provided in the Notice of Award. Contract for the first term shall run from date of expiration through December 1, 2025.
