Town of Oro Valley is conducting a competitive one-step request for qualifications with the intent of contracting with a construction services provider to perform as a Construction Manager at Risk and work alongside the Town's design consultant for successful delivery of the Northwest Recharge, Recovery and Delivery System (NWRRDS) Partners' Booster Stations Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). This project is being funded by the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) Federal Davis Bacon wages will apply to this project. Promotion of Small, Minority and Women-owned Businesses and participation in EPA's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program is required. Northwest Recharge, Recovery and Delivery System (NWRRDS) Partners' Booster Stations - Construction Manager at Risk The qualified construction manager/ general contractor retained by OVWU will provide pre-construction assistance and complete construction services as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for these facility improvements. 5. Development and management of GMP agreements and progress pay requests with consideration of individual partners' scope and work completed. The selected CMAR will be expected to participate as part of the design team and work closely with OVWU, Partners' technical staff, and the Design Professional, as required, throughout the project. The CMAR will be responsible for adherence to the design schedule, construction schedule, and project budget. The CMAR will provide continuous value engineering and constructability consultation; and will complete regular cost and schedule updates. Construction Phase Services by the CMAR will include, but not be limited to the following: 1. General contracting and construction 2. Team management and coordination. 3. Critical Path Scheduling. 4. Processing submittals in a timely process. 5. Cost control and change order management 6. Subcontracting. 7. Field management. 8. Safety and quality control programs. 9. Procuring long-lead time items. 10. Start-up, performance testing and commissioning services. 11. Project close out and warranty period services.
