Fire Rescue Drill Tower - Door Replacement Harrisburg Area Community College seeks qualified bidders to provide services for the door replacement at the Fire Rescue Drill Tower and Smoke Building. Question Deadline 11/13/2024 at 1:00 PM ET Online Portal, Oral communication with any College employee, unit, department, or organization concerning this RFB is not binding on the College and shall in no way modify the RFB or the obligation of the College or the provider. All questions must be submitted through the Questions tab on the website. No email or phone correspondence is permitted outside of the website for the duration of the bid posting Harrisburg Area Community College is looking to enter into a contract with a qualified vendor to provide work as described below on the Harrisburg campus (1 HACC Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17110). 1. Remove, dispose of and replace 9 frames, doors and hardware at the Drill Tower Building. a. Install continuous hinges, push and pull plates, door closures, wall stops and kick plates. b. Frames to be 16 gauge welded and grouted c. Doors to be 18 gauge stiffened galvanized 2. Remove, dispose of and replace 1 frame, door and hardware at the Smoke Building. a. Install continuous hinges, push and pull plates, door closure, wall stop and kick plates. b. Frames to be 16 gauge welded and grouted c. Doors to be 18 gauge galvanized 3. Paint and caulk doors and frames.
