Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Crestview, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Jerry D. Mitchem WRF is a 1.0 million gallon per day (MGD) domestic wastewater treatment facility consisting of pretreatment (headworks), biological treatment, disinfection, and disposal. The headworks of the facility consist of screening and grit removal. Screening is necessary due to the amount of trash and inorganic material of incoming raw wastewater. This material must be removed prior to the biological process. This is accomplished by a 1.0-millimeter Rotary Fine bar-screen. The existing Rotary Fine bar-screen is 15+ years in operation, worn out, and in need of replacement. We will be replacing the Rotary Fine bar screen with a Hydro-static non-mechanical bar screen. The County reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsive respondent and to waive any irregularity or technicality in bids received. Okaloosa County shall be the sole judge of the bid and the resulting Agreement that is in its best interest and its decision shall be final. TERM - The contract term is anticipated to be no more than six (6) months from the Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 11/19/2024 at 3:00 PM CT All questions or inquiries must be received online.
