As of October 10, 2025, an architect has been selected, and this project is in the design phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit Qualifications from Respondents, who are licensed to perform all necessary services to complete the design of the Design of SJC Sheriff's Office Administration Building in St. Johns County, in accordance with Section 287.055, Florida Statutes. The intent of the County is to select the most qualified Respondent, based upon evaluation of submitted Qualifications and presentations/interviews with shortlisted Respondents, for the purposes of negotiating and awarding a contract for completion of the Services. All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Encouraged Not to Contact Any Member of the St. Johns County Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
