Site work for a water / sewer project in Los Gatos, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project is primarily located within Santa Clara County Parks' Vasona Lake County Park and includes rehabilitation of approximately 5,000 linear feet of 8-inch to 12-inch diameter sewer mains with cured in place pipe liner and rehabilitation of 28 sanitary sewer manholes. All bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check payable to "West Valley Sanitation District of Santa Clara County," in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, or by a bond in said amount payable to same. Pursuant to Section 1770, California Labor Code, the successful Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded, and upon all subcontractors, shall pay no less than the general prevailing wage rates to all workers employed in the performance of the Contract. Pursuant to Section 1771.1, California Labor Code, a contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code or engage in the performance of any contract for public works, unless currently registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations as a public works contractor. Contractor shall possess a valid Class A, General Engineering license at the time of the bid opening and for the duration of the contract.
