Bid proposals are being solicited from bidders to furnish labor, equipment and materials to perform on-call snow and ice removal, as required. Scope of Work: Provide labor, equipment and materials to assist Pierce Transit with emergency snow and ice removal at one or more of the various locations in Pierce County as listed in Specification Section 01 11 00 Summary of Work. Work shall also include manually clearing snow from transit center platforms. The Contract shall expire 24 months following the Notice to Proceed or when the total of $100,000, including applicable sales tax, has been expended, whichever occurs first. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the maximum contract amount of $100,000. Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond.
