Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Bonney Lake, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,500-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and parking garage.

The contract includes general trades, mechanical, electrical, and related site work for a new single-story of fire station of primary wood frame with steel and concrete elements. Station will include fire apparatus parking area with supporting functions. Living and sleeping quarters for 24 hour use by fire department personnel. Station is approximately 10.500 square feet in total. Base bid cost range of $7,200,000 to 8,500,000 not including sales tax. This project is subject to meet Washington State prevailing wages rates. All work performed, on the project will be subject to the approved wage determination rates in the bid documents. In accordance with RCW 39.04.320, this project requires that no less than 15% of the total labor hours be performed by apprentices. The successful contractor and all subcontractors shall affirm their intent to comply with the aforementioned apprenticeship-utilization requirements. The awarding agency reserves the right to adjust or waive these apprenticeship utilization requirements for specific projects under the conditions outlined in RCWT 39.04.320(2).
