Site work and paving for a civil project in Saugerties, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposal consists of the installation of 1,475' of 8" diameter water main, including, but not limited to maintenance and protection of traffic, site preparation, trenching, valves, hydrants, house services, backfill, paving, site restoration and other related work. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five percentum (5%) of the base bid in the form of a certified check or bid bond subject to the conditions of this contract. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the accepted bid as set forth in the Bid Form. These Bonds shall be in compliance with the Specifications and the bidder shall be required to submit with his bid the completed form in the specifications. The Town Board expressly reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to accept any bid, or to reject any and all bids, or to award on any or all items, as the interest of the Town of Saugerties may appear to require.
