The project consists of new construction of a 76,000 SF precast and steel bus maintenance facility. Operations and Maintenance Facility -Phase 1 3500 Vandalia Road, Des Moines, lowa 50317 Bids will be received for a stipulated sum contract. A Pre-bid Conference will NOT be held for the Bid Package 13 Re-Bid. Bidders shall be required to furnish the 100% Contract Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) days after receipt of a contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which is the lowest responsive responsible bid. The basis of award for the Contract will be to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder based on the cost of the base bid or base bid plus any combination of alternates, whichever is most advantageous to the government The project consists of new construction of a 76,000 SF precast and steel bus maintenance facility. 6.
