Kanawha Development Corporation Description of Work: 1. Coal Silo Demolition and Disposal Demolish and dispose of three existing concrete silos & restore ground to natural grade so no standing water or ponding results. 2. Remove/Modify Electrical Utility Infrastructure Remove/modify existing utility infrastructure such as power poles and the existing breaker box. An MR-12 was obtained for three (3) power line/utility poles and associated wire(s) to remain in place (see MR-12 Report). 3. Tram Way Structures & Large Debris Removal Identify and remove all structures and debris from tram way and adjacent area that is not currently stabilized prior to re-stabilization activities. 4. Tram Way Stabilization Install stabilization measures throughout the existing tram way and adjacent disturbed areas that have resulted from debris removal and/or lack of existing natural vegetation. 5. Storm System Replacement Install storm water piping from existing railroad tracks (plan south) to new outfall location southwest of Pond 4 (shown as pond 4 on Permit #0-38-84 IBR 4 drawing) and construct a spill way as necessary to the river. Current storm water pipe passes through/under materials composition shown in EnviroProbe Geotechnical Investigation report dated May 18, 2022. 6. Existing Pond Pond 4 (see IBR4_Proposal_Drainage_2008 drawing). The existing pond is to be graded for proper drainage to the river and revegetation established. 7. Existing Outfall 020, Inlet and Pipe (see IBR4_Proposal_Drainage_2008 drawing). Pipe is indicated as a 36 RCP. Verify Condition of the pipe and provide recommendations for replacement and/or rerouting if condition and drainage routing is compromised. Question Deadline 11/11/2024 at 2:00 PM ET
