Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Blueberry Mountain, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Supply and install approximately 1500 meters of secondary gas line and 1000 meters of main gas line (to be coordinated with Central Peace Natural Gas Co-op) c/w tracer wire, excavation and backfill, connecting to existing systems, clearing of rights-of-way as required, coordination with utility providers and regulatory agencies, site cleanup and restoration. Contractor responsible for all testing, construction layout, asbuilt drawing preparation and utility locates. Gas line installation shall be confined to the utility right-of-way on private lands and within existing road/street rights-of-way and/or utility corridors on public lands, as directed by the Government of Alberta. The Contractor shall confine all construction activities to the rights-of-way and temporary workspace. Any additional workspace or access that may be required shall be the responsibility of and at the expense of the Contractor. The Contractor shall be responsible for establishing and marking right-of-way and property boundaries and for setting pipeline alignment. The Contractor shall also be responsible for ensuring that all foreign pipelines and other facilities are identified and accurately marked and/or exposed prior to construction taking place on any parcel of land. Site 1. Moonshine Lake Provincial Park NPS1 PE Line installation at NE30 & SE31-079-08W6 1. Mobilization 2. Conduct reconnaissance, determine the route of the ~1,500m 33.4 mm O.D. x 3.04 mm W.T. PE 2708 / 4710 polyethylene gas line from the existing DN25 (NPS1) PE line at 16-30-079-08W6 to the Moonshine Lake Provincial Park shower building at 08-31-079-08W6 in accordance with GOA-MLPP-PLO-002 and other project drawings; 3. Locate existing buried lines, cables and other intersecting communications. Inform owners, specify the actual depths of communications, coordinate methods of crossing and protection (temporary and permanent) of the affected communication, invite representatives for the work performance; 4. Excavate (including plowing and boring) for NPS1 PE pipeline; 5. Install NPS1 PE pipe into the trench; 6. Perform Road crossings, driveways and parking areas (boring); 7. Perform Creek crossings; 8. Perform joints; 9. Perform temporary and permanent protection of the affected communications; 10. Install NPS1 PE riser supports; 11. Install NPS1 PE risers into the trench; 12. Install sacrificial anodes for NPS1 risers, run cables into the test post; 13. Run NPS1 pipe tracer wire into test posts; 14. Perform pressure testing of ~1,500m NPS1 PE line; 15. Perform connections to the existing DN25 (NPS1) PE line at 16-30-079-08W6 and to the Moonshine Lake Provincial Park gas consumption equipment at 08-31-079-08W6; 16. Backfill NPS1 PE line; 17. Purge the gas-air mixture from the connected gas pipeline. Increase pressure to the designed. Perform commissioning work. Put into operation; 18. Reclaim damaged areas. Reseed with native grass seed mix free of weed seeds, water once. An alternative seed mixture can be used if requested by the landowner. Seed mixture per Alberta Transportation grass seed zones. Application rate 25 kg/hectare; 19. Closeout Documentation. Site 2. Central Peace Natural Gas Co-op NPS2 PE Line installation from NW16 to SW17-079-08W6 1. Coordinate with the Central Peace Natural Gas Co-op to implement the installation of ~1,000m 60.3 mm O.D. x 5.5 mm W.T. PE 2708 / 4710 main gas line. Question Deadline 11/15/2024 at 1:00 PM
