Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Snow Lake, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Environment and Climate Change requires repair work to Two (2) suspension bridges located in Wekusko Falls, MB. In 2023, Stantec was commissioned by Manitoba Parks to inspect 2 suspended pedestrian bridges located at Wekusko Falls Provincial Park over the Grass River near Snow Lake, MB. The bridges were originally constructed in 1965 by the Royal Canadian Engineers. It consists of a suspension cable, concrete bases, and timber supports, and planking. An Engineer's assessment is attached. The bridge inspection crews reviewed the material condition of each element and assessed the overall structure in terms of performance and below are their recommendations. Manitoba is looking for a qualified contractor with experience to conduct the required repair work listed in the report.
