A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project consists of 1,160 L.F. of 42" HDPE pipe, 100 L.F. of 24" HP polypropylene pipe, 40 L.F. of reinforced concrete pipe, 4 concrete storm sewer inlet/boxes, concrete sidewalk, and curb and gutter. The City of Ashland reserves the right to award the contract to the "lowest and best responsible bidder". The City further reserves the right to waive any irregularities in any or all bids, reserves the right to determine which is the most responsive, responsible bidder, and to reject or approve the bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of 5% of the total amount of the bid (bid bond, cashier's check, or approved money order payable to the City of Ashland, Missouri). Work under this contract to be fully complete within 120 calendar days upon Notice to Proceed (anticipated construction start Spring 2025). The project is financed in part by the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The City of Ashland is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The wage rates applicable for this project have been predetermined as required by the State of Missouri Prevailing Wage Law and are set forth in the proposal. The Contractor shall comply with all requirements regarding immigration and e- verification of citizenship. The Contractor shall also comply with all requirements regarding OSHA safety training.
