Little Pilchuck Tributary Fish Passage Project. The Project Will Replace a Passage Barrier on a Private Residential Road That Crosses an Unnamed Tributary to Little Pilchuck Creek. The Original Bid Documents Shall Be Submitted to the District as Described in the Instructions to Bidders in the Bid Documents. Question Deadline 11/15/2024 at 3:00 PM PT All Questions or Requests for Additional Information Must Be Received by the District by Email by online. All Bid Proposals Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Proposal Deposit in Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Bid Bond in an Amount Equal to Five Percent of the Amount of Such Bid Proposal. It is Recommended That Bidders Register in Order to Receive Automatic E-mail Notification of Future Addenda and to Place Themselves on the Self-registered Bidders List". Bidders That Do Not Register Will Not Be Automatically Notified of Addenda and Will Need to Periodically Check the on-line Plan Room for Addenda Issued on This Project. The work shall consist of mobilizing equipment, supplies and securing bonds and permits necessary to do the work as stated in the contract and/or agreement and demobilization of excess materials and equipment from the work site. Mobilization may include costs for transporting personnel, equipment, operating supplies to the site, establishment of necessary facilities for the contractor's operation and any permits, insurance and/or bonds required to do the work. Mobilization may also include costs for planning, materials, equipment and labor necessary to temporarily maintain truck, material and equipment access across the private access road. Mobilization may also include costs for materials, equipment and labor to maintain access roads to current conditions, or better, as needed to allow truck, materials and equipment access. Demobilization may include the removal of equipment and facilities that were necessary to do the work. The stripping shall extend to a depth as shown in the drawings. Excavated earth material deemed satisfactory by the engineer may be used for earth fill. All waste material shall be disposed of in areas shown in the drawings or as accepted by the landowner and engineer. Stripped material suitable for topsoil shall be stockpiled and spread over disturbed areas as shown in the drawings or as accepted by the engineer This Project receives federal funding. This Project consists of, but is not limited to, providing all materials, labor, and equipment, except as specifically identified in Exhibit A "Summary of Work" and Exhibit D Construction Specifications, to: 1. Mobilize equipment, materials, and supplies to the project site 2. Install fish screens and assist with aquatic life relocation from within the work area to a downstream location 3. Install stream bypass and TESC measures at the culvert site and at the soil disposal site 4. Install coffer dam 5. Excavate unsuitable soil within the coffer dam and haul it to the soil disposal site 6. Install structural base aggregate 7. Install structural fill 8. Install precast concrete culvert base sections 9. Install precast concrete headwalls 10. Install stream rock material and streambed sediment within culvert 11. Install precast concrete culvert top sections 12. Install structural fill backfill 13. Restore the stream bed and banks adjacent to the culvert 14. Rebuild and resurface the gravel road within the project area 15. Install guard rails 16. Complete finish grading of the soil disposal area, prepare all disturbed areas for establishing grass cover, and plant grass and establish temporary erosion control measures
