Southern Coarse Rock Salt for water softening Purchase of 500 tons, more or less, of Southern Coarse Rock Salt for water softening. Bids per ton to be quoted FOB Mt. Gilead, Ohio delivered by pneumatic truck. The contract period is 12/1/2024-12/1/2025. Each bidder must furnish a bond in the form of a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid to assure the Village of the intention of the bidder entering into a contract, which the sum shall be returned to the contractor immediately upon acceptance of the contract. The successful bidder shall, at the time of entering in the contract be required to furnish a supply contract bond in the amount of $1,500.00 to indemnify the Village against any loss of damage, directly or indirectly by reason of failure of the contractor to faithfully perform completion of said contract. The Fiscal Officer and Village Administrator reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
