Description The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky is requesting bids from KYTC pre-qualified contractors for the preparation and reconstruction of Commerce Street, as outlined in the attached specifications. Work will include milling of the existing pavement, cement stabilization of designated roadway segments, asphalt paving, and a mill-and-fill operation on specified sections. The project also includes maintenance and control of traffic, with strict phasing requirements to maintain business and residential access throughout construction. It should be noted that Smyrna Ready Mix Concrete is located at the end of Commerce Street in addition to other nearby commercial businesses that generate regular heavy tractor-trailer traffic.
