Site work for a mixed-use development in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for site work for a golf course; and playground / park / athletic field.
One of Hobson Golf Course's greatest assets is the mature trees that surround the course. However, one of the issues this creates is as the trees grow, their limbs create many hazards for play, such as limiting ball flight when allowed to grow over the playing areas. BGP R would like to reduce: 1) limbs that actually hang over many course areas. 2) eliminate some of the former wood trees and install many more decorative trees; a re-planting of newer flourishing trees. The parking lot near the baseball fields is also in need of major repairs. BGP R proposes to address this parking lot during FY2027 to make the necessary repairs. As of November 7 , 2024, this project is included in the city's 2025-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
