This fence will replace an existing wooden fence that is in poor repair and falling apart in certain areas. Some brush clearing along Depot Avenue and SW 2nd Street will be required and must be included in the bid. The current fence and brush will need to be removed and properly disposed of. The Main Porters Quarters Fencing Specifications The main section of the new fence will be 5 feet high and made of commercial quality black aluminum. It will run along Depot Avenue, east of SW 3rd Street, and end at SW 2nd Street. It will pick back up north on SW 2nd Street (roughly 75 feet) where it will connect to an existing black aluminum fence. At the ends of the fence along Depot Avenue, the height will transition from 5 feet to 4 feet, and the fence will taper slightly at the entryways. Scope: 1.
