Site work for a water / sewer project in Hunter, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of January 24, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. We anticipate one in mid-January. Questions should be sent to Anthony Mantas, EIT via email at amantas@delawareengineering.com. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The project is funded with New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (EFC) funds and 20% MWBE utilization is required. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. Contract #1G: This work consists of: Furnishing and installing water meters, meter pits, isolation valves, and other appurtenances necessary to install and read water meters. Providing reading and billing software and complete first full system billing cycle using the new equipment. Integration of meter readings with existing software and train personnel for future billing cycles. A Pre-Bid conference will not be held for this project. Proposals shall be submitted on bid forms which are contained in the detailed specifications available at Online. beginning on October 30th, 2024.
