Roof Replacement Phase Ii at Multiple Sites Base Bid: Estimates: Roof Replacement at Hudson AEC: $260,000.00 Roof Replacement at Linden Park EEC: $255,000.00 Locations- 400 Myrtle Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43211 2323 Lexington Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43211 The project for the Hudson Adult Education Center Roof Replacement consists of re-roofing the entire building roof, which is roughly 20,000 square feet of low-slope roof area. The existing roof assembly consists of a low slope built-up coal tar roofing system. The built-up roofing makeup is indicated in the core cut information in this Project Manual and consists of two layers of 1-1/2 inch insulation, 1/2 inch wood fiberboard, and a built-up coat tar roofing membrane with pea gravel surfacing. The re-roofing work includes removal of the existing stone ballast by Hydrovac, leveling the coal tar surface, adhesively applying a 1/2 inch thick high density polyisocyanurate insulation over the coal tar roofing membrane, and adhesively attaching a 60-mil reinforced EPDM membrane roofing over the insulation. Existing perimeter metal edge will be replaced unless otherwise noted. New metal roof edge products will also be installed as appropriate. The project for the Linden Park Early Childhood Education Center Roof Replacement consists of re-roofing the entire building roof, which is roughly 19,200 square feet of low-slope roof area. The existing roof assembly consists of a low slope built-up coal tar roofing system. The built-up roofing makeup is indicated in the core cut information in this Project Manual and consists from bottom up of a layer of 1 inch foam insulation on the structural metal roof deck, 3 to 6 inches approximately of sloped insulating concrete (Zonolite), a layer of 1-3/4 inch foam core insulation, 1/2 inch wood fiberboard, and a built-up coat tar roofing membrane with pea gravel surfacing. The re-roofing work includes removal of the existing stone ballast by Hydrovac, leveling the coal tar surface, adhesively applying a 1/2 inch thick high density polyisocyanurate insulation over the coal tar roofing membrane, and adhesively attaching a 60-mil reinforced EPDM membrane roofing over the insulation. Existing perimeter metal edge will be replaced unless otherwise noted. New metal roof edge products will also be installed as appropriate.
