The work included in the Contract shall consist primarily of the following items: Gravity sewer main lining, sewer manhole repairs and lining, and point repairs Bids will be received from a single prime Contractor. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items, if applicable, as indicated on the Bid Form. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Bay St. Louis Citywide Sewer Improvements Project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidders Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the owner as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested by the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of actual bid opening without Owners consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities. All contracts awarded under this advertisement will be funded in part by funds from the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) through the Mississippi Municipality and County Water Infrastructure Grant (MCWI) Program.
