Site work for a water / sewer project in Parsons, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be bid on is as follows: o Installation of 1950ft of 8" water main. o Installation of 2 pressure control valves. o The allotted time for construction is 90 calendar days. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering into the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the City of Parsons. This project is being supported with the Treasury, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements are attached to this opportunity. All bidders are required to be licensed in accordance with the General Licensing Act of 1976 (TCA Title 62, Chapter 6), also known as House Bill No. 2180 Question Deadline 11/29/2024-Questions from Bidders must be directed to the Engineer as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for preparation and distribution of addenda. Deadline for Interpretations and Questions: Five (5) days before Bid date.
