Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Ashland, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The Department of Community & Economic Development invites you to submit for the demolition with removal and disposal of the above stated structure and all structures on the premises. All business license and payroll taxes must be in compliance before awarding of this bid. Bid bond, Certificate of Liability Insurance and proof of Worker's Compensation is required. The local office of the EPA must be notified prior to the demolition. Demolitions must be completed within 60 days from the date of Notice to Proceed. All Bids shall be accompanied by a BID BOND or CERTIFIED CHECK in the amount of ten (10%) of the Bid, in favor of the City of Ashland. Bid Bonds shall be issued by a responsible Surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Certified checks shall be made payable to the CITY OF ASHLAND. Failure to comply with this requirement SHALL result in the Bid being considered as non-responsive and shall result in the rejection of the Bid The Successful Contractor will be required to furnish to the City a Contract Surety in the form of a PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the total amount of the Bid. Failure to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall result in the Bid being considered as non-responsive and shall result in the rejection of the Bid. The City of Ashland, through its City Manager or Director of Community & Economic Development, reserves the right to accept all or to reject all or any part of the bid should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Ashland.
