Renovation of an educational facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Board of Education of Ann Arbor Public Schools will receive sealed on-line bids for Bond project, New Mitchell Elementary School (interior studs, drywall, plumbing, geo-field system, HVAC & electrical). Each bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the contractor and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of Ann Arbor Public Schools. The Board of Education will not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. A bid bond executed by a Treasury listed surety company, acceptable to Ann Arbor Public Schools, or a cashier's check in the amount of at least 5% of the sum of the bid payable to Ann Arbor Public Schools shall be submitted with each bid. Ann Arbor Public Schools' Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, or to award the contract to contractor(s) submitting the best value bid, in its sole and absolute discretion.
