All quotes shall be on forms as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts and are to be accompanied by Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Surety Bond as required by law in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%)) of the total quote. Bid Security may be combined to cover all quotessubmitted by one bidder, but must be contained with the lower numbered item. Bidders awarded contract must supply performance bond (100%) of total quote Bidders for the supply of petroleum-based products shall quote both a fixed unit price and, a unit price subject to increase or decrease("floating unit price"). Bidders shall note that quoting a fixed andfloating price is mandatory. A fixed unit price shall not be subject to change. All quotes containing a floating unit price for petroleum-based materials must include documentation from the bidder's source ofsupply to establish a base cost of supply. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all quotes and to waive or enforce any formalities.
