PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Pepper Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager for the Indianapolis Public Schools - Rebuilding Stronger - Emma Donnan 72 project located at 1202 E Troy Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203. This project consists of 159,000 GSF of interior renovations as well as site improvements. Scopes of work include – selective demolition, architectural woodworking, roof replacement, exterior door replacement, exterior window & storefront replacement, acoustical ceiling replacement, flooring replacement, interior painting, boiler replacement, new BMS system, unit ventilator replacement, interior lighting replacement, card access & security system upgrades, and asphalt milling & overlay. As of April 2025, construction is anticipated to begin June 2025 and end summer 2026. Pepper Construction requests competitive bids for the following bid packages: BP-01: Selective Demolition BP-02: General Trades BP-03: Architectural Woodwork BP-04: Membrane Roofing BP-05: Glass & Glazing BP-06: Gypsum Board Assemblies & Acoustical Ceilings BP-07: Flooring BP-08: Painting & Coatings BP-09: Plumbing BP-10: HVAC BP-11: Electrical & Low Voltage BP-12: Earthwork & Utilities BP-13: Asphalt Paving XBE PROJECT GOALS: We are seeking maximum XBE participation for this project. Diverse subcontractors & suppliers must be certified with the City of Indianapolis OMWBD; IDOA, Division of Supplier Diversity; Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council; or the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) for XBE spend to count toward project goals. All diverse subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers are highly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting and submit bids for this project.
