Site work for a water / sewer project in Palatka, Florida. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Design completion is projected for fall 2027, with bidding anticipated to begin in late 2027. Construction is expected to commence in early 2028 and is planned to span approximately three years. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The objective of this solicitation is to engage the professional services of an engineering firm to provide the design, permitting, and construction management and/or related services for the Taylor Creek Reservoir (TCR) Improvements Project. Information regarding the project can be found in Attachment A -- Statement of Work included with this solicitation. These documents and drawings are available from the District upon request only. Respondent must complete and submit a Non-Disclosure Confidentiality Agreement (Attachment G) with their request. The request may be submitted in hard copy or via email to Kendall Matott. Initially, the District undertook the design of the TCR Improvements Project. However, after a peer review of the District's design work and other considerations, the District elected to contract with an engineering consultant to design and assume engineer of record responsibilities to complete the TCR Improvements Project design. The District is securing a professional engineering firm under a separate prior solicitation (RFQ 40495) to act as the District's Representative/Advisor in assisting with evaluating the Qualification Submittals and negotiating and developing the final Statement of Work with the Successful Respondent for RFQ 40560. The District's Representative/Advisor may also provide the District with assistance throughout the design and/or construction phases of the TCR Improvements Project. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE ST. JOHNS RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON.
