Reference Number : 0000367801 The exact engineer's estimate cannot be released prior to the bid opening. The range varies from $7,000,000 to $7,500,000. The IWTP portion of this project involves the construction of a new Trash Capture Structure, inlet structure, outlet structure, emergency spillway, improvements to the existing Pond 1 pump station to include a new emergency backup generator, new slide gate diversion structure and inlet structure to Pond 3, and hardened spillways for Ponds 3, 4 and 5. The Bridge Road portion of this project involves the construction of three (3) new trash capture structures, two (2) flow diversion structures, one (1) flow splitter structure, inlet/outlet pipes, manholes, reconstruction of existing city parking lot, relocation of an existing city water line, and site solar lighting. General Requirements - Certified Payroll - Contractors License Required - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required - Bid Bond 10 % All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by cash, cashier's or certified check payable to the order of the City Council of the City of Hollister, amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid, or by a bond in said amount and payable to said Clerk signed by the bidder and a corporate surety, or by the bidder and two sureties who shall justify before any officer competent to administer an oath, in double said amount and over and above all statutory exemptions. The amount so posted shall be forfeited to said City in case the bidder depositing the same does not, within ten (10) days after written notice that the contract has been awarded to him, enter into a contract with the City. All certified or cashier's checks will be deposited pending award of contract. Return of deposited certified or cashier's checks will take approximately 30 days from award of contract. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
